Some notable events taking place

From June 2

  • Accommodation services (hotels, B & Bs, inns and lodges) may reopen with limited services to overnight guests

From June 7

  • You can have visitors from 1 other household inside your home for unvaccinated households

  • 25 people can attend a wedding celebration or reception

  • Outdoor sports matches may take place

  • Gyms, swimming pools, leisure centers can reopen for individual training only

  • Outdoor dining and services may resume at restaurants and bars

  • Resumption of theoretical driving tests – with 25,000 tests per month to come

  • Maximum of 100 participants for the majority of places. Maximum of 200 for outdoor sites with a minimum accredited capacity of 5,000

A number of pilot events that crowds can attend will take place throughout the month of June. They can be seen here, but some of the more notable events are:

June 10

Outdoor musical event organized by NCH, 500 participants

June 11

Leinster v Dragons, RDS, 1,200 participants

Shamrock Rovers v Finn Harps, Tallaght Stadium, 1,000 stake

Cork City vs Cabinteely, Turner’s Cross, 600 spectators

June 20

National Camogie League finals, Croke Park, 3,000 participants

23 june

Indoor – Opera, University Limerick Concert Hall, 519 spectators

June 25

Shamrock Rovers v Drogheda United, Tallaght Stadium, 1,000

June 26

Irish National Athletics Championships, Morton Stadium, Santry, participation of 400

Outdoor music festival type event – Phoenix Park – fully seated, 3,500 people

Indoor musical performance, INEC Club, Killarney – fully seated, 200 people
